Challenge

The aim of the church Zerzabelshof was to obtain a universally applicable system that improves speech intelligibility and is available for church music purposes. In order to make this barrier-free, one of the requirements was an induction loop according to the latest standard of the DIN EN 60118-4 standard. In addition, the equipment should fit into the existing architecture without being particularly conspicuous. We have installed a digital system that can also be controlled via smartphone, as well as high-quality audio components from manufacturers such as Shure, DPA and Fohhn. Furthermore, an audio recorder has been installed and there is the option of tapping the audio signal for live streams, etc. The special requirements were:

  • Church acoustics
  • Use by laypeople
  • Integration into the existing architecture / building

Installed material
