The LWL Museum of archeology in Herne is a state museum of the Regional Association of Westphalia-Lippe (LWL). Its exhibitions focus on 250,000 years of human history in Westphalia.

We delivered Erco RGBW LED spotlights for the special exhibitions “Stonehenge – of people and landscapes” and “archeology of modernity”. Special emphasis was placed on the light color and intensity as well as the control via bluetooth technology.

Stonehenge, the most famous archaeological monument in Europe, was reconstructed 1: 1 thanks to precise laser scan data. The light show simulates an authentic course of the day in the landscape of Stonehenge.
