LWL Museum for Archaeology

RGBW LED spotlight for special exhibitions.

Project

The LWL Museum of Archaeology in Herne is a state museum of the Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL). It focuses its exhibitions on 250,000 years of human history in Westphalia.

We supplied Erco RGBW LED spotlights, among others, for the special exhibitions “Stonehenge – of People and Landscapes” and “Archaeology of Modernity”. Special emphasis was placed here on light color and intensity, as well as control via Bluetooth technology.

Stonehenge, the most famous archaeological monument in Europe, was reconstructed 1:1 thanks to exact laser scan data. The light staging recreates an authentic course of the day in the landscape of Stonehenge.
