Plärrer is one of Nuremberg's main transport hubs and an important center for local public transport. For a good year and a half, the location lacked a local supplier offering shopping facilities for everyday needs. On October 28, 2020, the PLÄRRERMARKT opened after 15 months of renovation. The basement houses an E-center, which, as a full-range retailer with around 3,000 square meters of retail space, provides local supplies to residents and commuters.
