The modernization of educational institutions through digitalization is becoming increasingly urgent and necessary. We were all caught completely unprepared by the coronavirus crisis. During hybrid operations, it became apparent that many educational institutions have some catching up to do when it comes to digitization. We want to be a strong partner in this area and find customized solutions so that teaching can continue as usual. Uncomplicated system integration of state-of-the-art digital technology into existing analog systems is possible.

We installed a mobile presentation system at the University of Bonn. This consists of a mobile lift system, a Samsung display, a camera mount, a Logitech camera, a Barco Clickshare system, and much more. In addition, eight rooms at the Adenauer Allee location were equipped with new media technology, as were individual rooms in the zoology departments, Endenicher Allee, Mechenheimer Allee, and the rectorate.

The Barco ClickShare system installed at the University of Bonn enables, for example:

• Up to 2 users on screen
• Share via laptop, tablet, or smartphone
• Seamless switching between wired and wireless sources and layouts
• Enhanced security features
• Annotations, blackboarding, and touchback on a 4K screen
• Central administration
