The largest event ever held in the Arab world attracted 190 participating countries and millions of visitors from around the world. Hundreds of pavilions offered interactive exhibitions, live entertainment, unique meeting rooms, cool hangouts, and much more.
Für ein Projekt dieser Größenordnung ist eine zuverlässige technische Infrastruktur entscheidend. Medientechnik, Steuerung, Betreuung und reibungslose Abläufe müssen dauerhaft funktionieren, damit Besucherinnen und Besucher die Pavillons wie geplant erleben können.
Connecting Minds, Creating the Future
Das Motto ist: „Connecting Minds, Creating the Future“, oder zu deutsch: „Gedanken verbinden, die Zukunft gestalten“.
Dieser Gedanke spiegelte sich in den Pavillons, Ausstellungen und Begegnungsräumen wider. Die Expo brachte Menschen, Ideen und Technologien aus aller Welt zusammen und machte internationale Zusammenarbeit sichtbar.
Weltausstellungen als Bühne für Innovationen
The World's Fair was intended to inspire people by showcasing the best examples of collaboration, innovation, and cooperation from around the world. World's Fairs have featured innovations such as the telephone (Philadelphia, 1876), the Eiffel Tower (Paris, 1889), the Ferris wheel (Chicago, 1893), the X-ray machine (Buffalo, 1901), ice cream cones (St. Louis, 1904), television (New York, 1939), IMAX (Osaka, 1970), touchscreens (Knoxville, 1982), and humanoid robots (Nagoya, 2005).
Auch moderne Expo-Pavillons leben von eindrucksvollen Inszenierungen. Interaktive Medien, audiovisuelle Inhalte und technische Systeme tragen dazu bei, Themen verständlich, emotional und erlebbar zu machen.
Technische Betreuung von zwei Pavillons
We provided technical support for two pavilions at the same time: the German Pavilion and the Monegasque Pavilion. The main challenge was the size and complexity of this international project.
Dabei kam es auf eine sorgfältige Abstimmung, schnelle Reaktionsfähigkeit und zuverlässige technische Betreuung an. Bei einem internationalen Großprojekt dieser Art müssen viele Gewerke, Abläufe und Anforderungen ineinandergreifen. Genau hier war Erfahrung in der Medientechnik für Expo Pavillons besonders wichtig.
Komplexes internationales Projekt
Die gleichzeitige Betreuung von zwei Länderpavillons stellte besondere Anforderungen an Organisation und technische Umsetzung. Unterschiedliche Inhalte, Raumkonzepte und Besucherströme mussten zuverlässig begleitet werden.
